Funding under this procedure is only in support of non-profit research for basic research to acquire new knowledge to encourage the participation of young scientists and post-doctoral students in research. The non-profit scientific activity is in accordance with the National Strategy for Development of Scientific Research in the Republic of Bulgaria 2017-2030 and contributes to: - Ensuring high qualification and effective career development of scientists based on a high level of research. - Sustainable restoration of the international positions of the country in terms of quantity and quality of internationally visible scientific products. - Expanding the participation of the Bulgarian scientific community in the European Research Area and expanding international scientific cooperation. - Increasing the quantity and quality of research related to issues of regional and national importance.
