Declaration of accessibility

"Central coordination unit" Directorate at the Administration of the Council of Ministers undertakes the obligation to ensure accessibility of UMIS 2020 for maximum wide group of users regardless of the used technologies and skills.

We are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of EUMIS and in doing so adhere to the existing standards and best practices.

To meet the requirements and criteria for accessibility level set by the European Commission on the websites of public administration, and also to meet the requirements of current Internet technologies, will adhere to the standards of WCAG 2.0 and the level of compliance "Double-A ".

Web Accessibility Initiative

EUMIS2020 will try to cover the level of accessibility double-A according to the latest standards of the World Wide Web Consortium - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), using the best practices and techniques.

WCAG 2.0 explains how the content of websites can be made more accessible to people with disabilities. Implementation of the guidelines will help more people to be comfortable and to enjoy the benefits of the Internet.

W3C Standards

EUMIS2020 will try to cover the level of accessibility double-A according to the latest standards of the World Wide Web Consortium - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0), using the best practices and techniques.

Exceptions

Although we strive to provide compatibility with existing accessibility standards, it is not always possible in every aspect. Browsers and techniques for development and access to the Internet is growing very fast and sometimes some of the standard requirements for accessibility have become redundant. In this light, we continuously develop technological MIS2020 with a view to achieving high standards of accessibility and usability of content.
